ONCE UPON A TIME
I was a five year old little girl planning neighborhood weddings. One day that little girl turned that love into her everyday life...
Looking back, I see how much of my life journey has prepared me for this chapter I am in,. I was just a little girl spending her summers at the beach and dreaming up all the neighborhood weddings. In High School I planned and executed social events on the boardwalk, so it was only fitting that I planned our proms too! Fast forward to adult hood, with a business management degree under my belt, I continued to gain my experience in event planning, wedding coordination, and the hospitality industry right out of college, while working with upscale catering companies and event venues. I planned and executed full weddings and events from start to finish. I also completed my certificate program in wedding planning at Temple University and am a Certified Professional Bridal Consultant from Association of Bridal Consultants, a nationwide leading wedding organization. Working for others with out freedom to express myself and follow my own intuitions with my couples was just not working for me anymore!
Then I finally found my real purpose, helping couples on a much more personal level to celebrate their love with style and strategy in my own way.
After over a decade of gaining professional experience, extensive knowledge, and additional education from the best, I moved on to open my own wedding planning firm! Luxe Weddings by Kristen, Est. 2013. Currently 20+ years after my first professional wedding, I am here enjoying life and love with my family, while continuing to exceed the expectations of couples through detailed planning, creative design and pure unmatched organization.
Seriously Silly & fun as they come... I can always go for a glass of wine, definitely up for a good time, and swear I will always be the first on the dance floor.
